Nußhardt, Fichtelgebirge, Bayern, Germany

Ich war schon unzählige Male an dieser Location. Leider waren bisher die Bedingungen nie wirklich optimal. Auch bei diesem Versuch hatte ich keine große Hoffnung, da im Tal klares Wetter war und der Nebel sehr hoch hing. Da der Wetterbericht aber Sonne vorausgesagt hat habe ich dennoch den Aufstieg auf mich genommen…schon mit dem Wissen, dass meine Erwartungen vielleicht ein weiteres Mal enttäuscht werden könnten.

Vor Ort musste ich dann noch auf die aufgehende Sonne warten. Die Bedingungen wurden aber von Minute zu Minute besser. Einen ganz kurzen Moment lang brach die Sonne durch den Nebel, bevor sie diesen komplett auflöste. Dieses Mal war ich da. Damit kann ich nun diesen Spot aus dem Fichtelgebirge auch zu meinem Landschaftsfoto Portfolio hinzufügen.

I have visited this location many times. Never have the conditions really been amazing. And it did not look to promising at this try. The valley was clear while the clouds were really high. Nonetheless I made my way up the mountain because of the promising weather forecast. I knew that my expectations could be disappointed once more.

On location I still had to wait for the sun to rise but the conditions got better with every minute. Just a short timeframe allowed the sun to come through the fog before the fog completely disappeared. This time I was there to capture this shot and add it to my landscape portfolio of the Fichtel Mountains.
