Tongariro National Park, New Zealand

Beschreibung

DE

EN

Although the weather wasn’t the best on Tongariro Crossing it gave us the best impression of what the weather can be like in New Zealand in the evenings. The sun came out, the clouds slowly disappeared and a magical light was seen as the sun was setting.

This picture was captured directly in front of our hotel in Tongariro National Park and shows perfectly what the landscape in this area is like – dominated by bushland and the mighty volcano – Mt. Ngauruhoe – which is known as Mt. Doom in the Lord of the Rings movies.

I combined six vertical images to one panorama in this image.
