Der Plansee liegt nur kurz hinter der österreichischen Grenze ca. 20km von Füssen und dem bekannten Schloss Neuschwanstein entfernt. Und während sich am einen Ort massenweise Touristen tummeln ist es am Plansee traumhaft still.

Wir ließen uns am Ufer nieder und sahen der Sonne dabei zu, wie sie hinter den Bergen verschwand und der Himmel immer dunkler wurde. Als die Sterne sich blicken ließen ergab sich die perfekte Situation für eine Langzeitbelichtung um die Sternenbewegung sichtbar zu machen.

Leider lief meine Linse immer wieder an, da die Luftfeuchtigkeit an dem Abend sehr hoch war. Dieses Foto ist das einzige aus einer Reihe von Versuchen. Dennoch ist die Sternenbewegung gut eingefangen und die Berge runden die Komposition schön ab.

Lake Plansee is located just behind the Austrian border and only 20km from the famous Neuschwanstein Castle. And while that one is full of tourists lake Plansee is as quiet as you can wish for.

We took position at the shore and watched the sun go down behind the mountains and the sky get darker and darker. As the stars were visible I decided to take advantage of the weather and try a longer exposure to make the movement of the stars visible.

Unfortunately it was very humid on this evening and so my lens was full of condensed water all the time. So this shot turned out to be the only one of many tries that worked. I like the composition and the star movement very much and so I decided that this one goes to my portfolio.
