Beschreibung
The „Nullarbor“ is the only southern connection between the states South Australia and Western Australia. 1200km from Ceduna, the last place of civilisation in South Australia to Norseman, the first bigger town in Western Australia. 1200km „you only share with Caravans, Roadtrains and cyclists of questionable sanity“ according to the travelguide. And there is really nothing except a few roadhouses. Otherwise there is only nature as far as you can see. In this image behind the horizon is the ocean and the next land following is Antarctica. The Nullarbor is a place you don’t really have to visit but which makes you conscious of how small you are and how necessary a good car is that brings you throught this piece of land. Shortly after sunset the sun lit the clouds so beautifully. This is when this picture was made.
